We are looking for a highly motivated agent to generate new business by working with current accounts and acquiring new customer accounts. You will sell, solicit, differentiate and negotiate insurance plans that match the needs of your assigned or prospective customers’ portfolio. The goal is to build up strong positive relationships, to ensure growth attainment and increase our firm’s reputation.

Job Summary
Independent Exclusive Associate Agents are team players that take exceptional pride in the company they represent, the products they sell and in providing excellent customer service. They assist the agent in providing service and performing sales to new and existing customers. They are self-starters who are comfortable with a performance-based compensation structure.
 
Responsibilities 
  • Building relationships with clients, prospecting for new clients, probing to discover needs (asking questions and listening), closing sales for all lines (auto, fire, life, commercial) and asking for referrals.
  • Calling prospects/clients to offer products or schedule appointments
  • Attending training sessions
  • Conducting insurance and financial service reviews for clients
  • Meet established sales quota
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must already have or be able to obtain a Georgia Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and have an aptitude for learning new programs and procedures
  • Team player with a positive, professional attitude
Alfa agents are entrepreneurs that sell Alfa Insurance and financial service products in addition to authorized carriers through Alfa Agency. This position is with an Alfa independent contracting agent, not with Alfa Insurance Corporation.
Compensation: $31,500.00 - $65,000.00 per year
